What Is Sedation Dentistry?

Sedation Options
We offer gentle and effective nitrous oxide (Happy Gas) and IV sedation for more complicated cases. Dr. Frank C. Pettinato II, DMD, MS, will determine which sedation option is best for your child. If IV sedation is necessary, we utilize the safest method by bringing in Board-Certified Pediatric Anesthesiologists and Pediatric Nurses to administer the medicine. Your child can sleep through their visit just like older kids do to get their wisdom teeth pulled. We will answer any questions you may have regarding your child’s treatment and sedation prior to beginning - your and your child’s comfort is our priority!
